2018 Lenten Retreat: The Breath of Life – Honoring the Music Within

$45.00

Join us on Saturday, March 3rd 2018; The Second Week of Lent from 9:00AM to 5:PM.

The season of Lent invites us to contemplatively intensify our human journey of faith, and we are not alone in this adventure. This retreat explores how we can honor the mystic within by becoming aware of the love that God has kindled in our hearts. When we live from this mystical center of prayer, we will be catalyst for compassion, reservoirs of reconciliation, and harbors of hope from one another and the world.

Most believe that mysticism is something beyond us, something reserved for those who are so attuned to God’s voice that even the clamor of a world often teetering on the brink of chaos can’t shake their inward calm, but many great teachers of the spiritual life remind us, that we can be modern day mystics through the practice of awareness! The Divine One is present in our everyday life.

Our program this year will include:

  • Mysticism and its meaning in general
  • St. Teresa of Avila
  • Hildegard of Bingen

Meals are provided!

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks throughout the Retreat!

Sunday, March 4th 2018 at 10:30AM Mass

Sr. Eleanor will deliver the homily, followed by a short presentation on her community in the Undercroft Fellowship Hall!
