We are sad to report that our friend, Ed Vantreska, passed away on March 31, 2023.
The Funeral Mass for Ed will be held at Saint Miriam on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11 AM. It will be preceded by an hour of visitation from 10 o’clock in the morning until the time of the funeral mass, and it will be followed by interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery next to his parents.
Ed joins our team and leads our landscape team for the entire campus, including our historic cemetery. Ed attended St Raymond’s in Mt Airy then Abington High and Montco Tech and was a member of the Jr Weight PAL Boxing League, YMCA of Germantown and Crestmont/Glenside Swim Club. Also served as a North Wildwood NJ Jr. Lifeguard. Ed began working as a kid after school on roofing and siding. Renovated on a crew of Dublin, Ireland finest Carpenters and became a everyday foundry man and then a small business owner in the building trades. Ed had one step son, Chris, and a daughter by marriage, Laurie Ingle, and 4 grand children and a great grand baby soon.
