This year, as in year’s past, Saint Miriam appoints a theme to follow for the entire year beginning with Easter. This year we have chosen, A People of Justice.
Based on the passage from Malachai (4:2) “But for you who fear my name, there will arise the sun of justice with its healing rays.” Our Easter will begin at the Vigil with the Blessing and Lighting of New Fire and our Paschal Candle from Marklin, The Sun of Justice™ Paschal Candle!
Advent’s O Antiphon for this past December 21st, the shortest day of the year, made reference to this passage from Malachai. Just when the northern hemisphere most needs light, the light returns. It is not just any light, but the healing rays of the sun of justice. The One who entered our world at Christmas to bring justice and peace to shine his burning light to our families and communities every day and will help remind us of all the good we do by remaining together!
Join us for a special return to Easter for 2021!
