Parish Religious Education (PREP/CCD)

The Parish Religious Education Program or PREP process (formerly CCD) at Saint Miriam Parish has at its core the tenets and traditions of our shared Catholic Faith tradition. A faith tradition rooted in a rich Catholic heritage that acts as our springboard into the realms of spiritual and personal growth in our inclusive and welcoming catholic community. Child (PREPplay) and Youth PREP (SMYG) Programs, as well as Sacramental PREP (for those who will be receiving First Holy Communion and Confirmation) run September through June each year. Our Adult Educational Opportunities (including RCIA) run September through May and are announced in advance with an additional emphasis provided during the seasons of Advent and Lent.

Our PREP Catechists, PREP Aides, and PREP Support Staff – all who touch and participate in the PREP process – provide by their lived faith experience the tools our students (ages three years old – teenagers) will take with them on their own journey of faith and are State and Federally Cleared.
