“In a culture where we use things and throw them away, Francis calls us to see humans and animals as creatures of God.”

Join us for a Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 7th at 11:00am

We will be in the Saint Francis Garden at Saint Miriam Parish and all creatures Great and Small are welcome!

Then, on Sunday, October 8th:

At all three masses (7:30am Early Mass; 9:30am Family Mass; and 11:00am Morning Mass) we will be honoring Saint Francis Feast Day. We will also be praying the Franciscan Rosary at our 8:30am Rosary Devotional.

A time of sitting with our new reliquary containing St. Francis will be offered from 12:30 pm to 1:30pm.

You are also invited to join us at the beginning of the week on Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:00pm for the moving Transitus. Transitus is the annual celebration by Franciscans throughout the world of the passing of Saint Francis from this life to life with God.
