We invite you to join award-winning nationally-known theologian and abolitionist The Rev. Dr, Father Jeff Hood as he releases his new Lenten book, Orationes Mortuorum (Prayers of the Dead).
The release will double as a moment for Father Hood to help us start a Lenten journey of engaging the last words of the last 40 people executed on death rows in the United States every day for 40 days.
In such words, Father Hood has no doubt that participants will find new ways to become alive to the ongoing pain and suffering that the death penalty causes.
